Suspension Question for Tirerack Guys (archive)

I need some advice. I recently purchased a 330i without the Sports Package (wanted to avoid the Sport Seats, ground effects, etc.). I'm trying to improve the stock suspension. My goals are to get rid of lateral roll and to do away with the fairly extreme squat on acceleration and dive during breaking.

Here's what I've done so far. I installed Racing Dynamics Springs, Sway Bars, and Strut Braces. Everything worked great except the springs. While they did eliminate the squat/dive, the car was too low and I kept bottoming out - so I've had the stock springs put back on the car.

So now I've taken care of the roll during cornering - but I'm back to having too much squat/dive. Can I improve this aspect by replacing the shocks with firmer performance shocks? If so, which would you recommend?

Thanks for your help,
Tim
