Tirerack:

Hey guys. It is time for me to get new tires for my BMW. I presently have: Nitto 225 50 R16's. My question(s):

1) I have had these tires for only 1 1/2 years or 20,000 miles, and they are shot already - is there a company warranty on these ? They were put on by the dealer when I got the car from.

2) I am looking to either replace these tires with the same, or with something better. I like the way these tires handle ( except for their quick wear ). They do not, however handle well in the rain or snow ( I live in New York ). Is there a tire that stands out as a great high performance tire in the dry and the wet ?

My driving is aggressive but not in a ' beating ' way.

Thx,

Alan

I couldn't tell you anything about the Nitto tires but I do have a tire that I would receommed for your car. The tire is the Dunlop SP5000 at 101.00 per tire. In the all-season category it is the best tire we have tested. Our customer also rate this tire very highly. You can see our test results on the tire on our web site. If I can help let me know. Thank you
