18" Breyton Soflines and Problems!! (archive)

I have a '94 e36 coupe with 18X8.5 chrome Breyton Softlines with 225/40/18s. I have had many problems with these wheels. They seem to bend and crack very easily. I actually brought this issue at the E36 bulletin board and got several responses from people who have had similar experiences or have heard about this problem. Is Breyton taking any actions/corrections regarding this issue? I have had BBS and TSWs in the past and never had any problems with those wheels!

Thanks for any insight you may be able to give me on this issue.
