Dear Tirerack guys,

I'm noticing that the Yokohama AVS S1 are dropping in price and actually down to the same price as the AVS Intermediates. Specifically, 225/50-16, $85 vs. $77. I had the understanding that the S1 are a better tire. Or not?

The biggest improvements for the AVS S1 is wet weather and ride quality. The dry handling is not that much different. If I can help let me know. Thank you Jim 800-428-8355-364
