330i Sport Winter Tire/Rim combinations... (archive)

I'll be taking delivery of a 330i with Sport Package in early November. I would like to put a full set of snows on the car (winter in Connecticut). I would like to get a set of rims with snows on them so I can just swap rims every season instead of mounting/unmounting (plus the stock rims will stay nicer) - I noticed a rim/tire combo in Motor Trend from TireRack for about $1300. My question is are there any other combinations that would be less expensive - I still want a good quality winter tire but I'd be willing to cut corners on the rims - are there any other options?
