There is a W speed rating. It is rated for up to 143mph while the Z rating is for 149 mph and over.

I have the AVS sport and the actual tire marking is 225/45ZR17 90W. In other word, I think W is kind of a subset of Z.


why does tire rack say they have a w speed rating while discount tire says they have a z rating
