I currently drive a 2000 328i with sportpackage that has the Bridgestone Turanzas 225/45/17.

I will need to get new tires here shortly and I am considering the Yokohama AVS Sport of the BF Goodrich. What would you recommend? Or any other tire for that matter.

Also, please give me your thoughts on moving the tire size to 235/40/17 in these tires.

Thank you,

Andreas

For the money I don't believe there is a better tire than the AVS Sport. In the testing we did it was an exceptional dry handling tire and the tire has a AA rating for wet traction. The tread pattern comes from there racing rain tires and was used at the 24 Hour Daytona 2 years ago and they won. At 162.00 per tire it would be the way to go. If I can help let me know. Thank you
