I put 215/45/17 Michelin Pilot Alpins on my M3 convertible last winter, and can't say enough good things about them. Great dry handling, with plenty of snow & ice traction. Actually, I just ordered exactly the same setup (with 17" 7-spoke replica wheels) for my wife's new 323iT with sport package. I had Yokohama Guardex 600s on my last convertible, and they were terrible. Pretty good snow traction, but the dry handling was truly pathetic - WAY too soft & wiggly.

I have a sport package 323Ci. Looking for any recommendations for snow tires. We had a relatively mild winter last year and the streets were cleaned fairly quickly so "treking through the Alps" functionality isn't of utmost importance - rather a better blend of traction than will be offered by my Continental contisport 17's. Thanks for all the help.
