Aaron, I currently have the Bridgestone SO2 Pole Positions in 225/50-16 on a set of BBS RK's in 16x8. They have been a wonderful combination. But now I am considering the RE730's based on the comparison tests on Tirerack.com and the hope of reducing tire noise and expense with only minor handling compromise.

Although I am leaning toward the 225/50's, I wonder if the 245/45's would be a good alternative. What do you think? I note that the overall diameter is close enough to call equal between the two sizes, but I am concerned about handling of the 245's and possible clearance problems.
