Can you suggest a GOOD replacement tire for my 99 328I? I have stock rims, Conti stock BMW factory tire. At 17,000 miles the side walls are cracking and splitting. This car is in the garage or covered in the shade when outside. I don't understand why the tires would split with so few miles and only bing 1 1/2years old. Local tire shop says the rubber is dried out. Will pro rate and give me $80.00 towards new replacement tires.

Can you suggest a replacement tire, not Conti since I don't want to deal with the splitting issue again.
