I have a pair of 265/40x17's on the rear of my Z3 and they're fine. Only problem is they turn very brown really quick so need tire black often.

I didn't like them on the front though. They have a single heavy rib down the center which I think was responsible for some tramlining. Also the sipes along the sidewall make cornering a little mushy. I had the 235/45x17's. Switched to Sumitomo HTRZ2's and really like them. Even a little cheaper. Similar design but blockier so better at cornering. And no center rib/no tramlining. Quiet too.

What do you think about the Pirelli P7000 Supersport (235/45-17)? Has anyone had a good or bad experience with these tires? From everything I've read, they seem to be very good tires for the money.

P.S. I'm putting them on a E32 with 17"x8" rims.
