e30 14 and 15 inch suggestions? (archive)

I have a newly acquired 87 325is w/14 inch basketweaves. I want to track the car and still have it available for a daily driver. I was thinking about keeping the 14's w/new tires for street (205/60/14?) and getting 15s (225/50/15?) w/stickies for track. Is this the right way to go or should I do 15s for street and 14's for track? Suggestions for tires/sizes for these applications? Thanks.
