conti tire side walls (archive)

i am having several problems with the conti tires on new bmw's.there appears to be half a glof ball size bulge from the side walls of a bunch of tires also on some the side walls appear to be developing slices like delamination.i was wondering if anyone else has seen this and is it covered by conti or bmw?
