Tirerack & gang: Will 225/50/15s fit 87 325is (archive)

I'm thinking about some track tires. Will 225/50/15 fit my 87 325is without rubbing? Is 205/50/15 the more "correct" size? I would like the extra width for the track, if it will fit. Any suggesstions between the Toyos, Khumos or other sticky tires? Thanks!
