Con's- the tires are MUCH more expensive, and you can only go 50 miles and then it is going to leave you as any other blown tire would, so youstill must replace the tire.

The bottom line is this. If you are concerned about being stranded for even for a slight amount of time, it is worth getting. Especially if you drive in high traffic areas where being stuck in the road is a serious concern (ie...downtown New York, Chicago, etc...) Just my opinion.
