I just purchased a set of wheels used as listed below :

5 x 120 lug pattern ,2 -17 x 7.5, 2- 17 x 8.5
Factory Z3 2.8 sport wheels Offset for E36, Z3 and compatible 1992 plus
M3, 318i, 325i, 328i, etc.
will fit other BMW's with ET 30-40 offset

If they do fit, what tire size would I need?

Thanks Much!!

They would only fit the other 3 series cars. The tires you would need would be 225/45R17 and 245/40R17. If I can help with the tires let me know. Thank you

Thanks much for the reply Jim but I guess I am a little unclear on your response ... what do you mean they would fit only "the other 3 series cars?" I have a 93 325i ... am I good to go on that model (I hope)!? I also have a 97 Z3 1.9 but I am pretty sure they are a no-go for that one, right? Thanks for all the help ... oh, and on the tires, is there any way I could go with the same size all the way around or does the 8.5 inch rear wheel width prevent that? Jon
