Other than "The manual says so". Seems every other manufacture recomends tires be rotated. Is there a technical reason?

There isn't really a need to because of the rear wheel drive and the weight distribution of the car. The cars do seem to wear tires evenly anyway. I have seen an article in the Roundel Magazine and they said you would need to rotate the tires every 3000 miles to do any good. I hope this helps. Jim
