No 16" OEM was offered..... (archive)

I hate to break it to you, but there were no 16" rims offered as OEM options on the 91 7 series. 15" , 17" and TRX, but no 16".....believe it or not I have a 1991 BMW wheel option catalog (gotta love ebay) to prove it. The only wheels from '91 that were 16" and would fit the E32 7er are for the 850i and are "turbine style" 7.5X16 15mm offset. My bet is, this is not what you have though. Maybe a 16X8 from an E38????

The good new is, all the info you want should be stamped on the wheel, under the center cap. It should read something like:

8J 16H 18 (16"X8" 18 mm offset)

I have a set of 16" BMW OEM rims that I want to sell. They came off of my '91 735. What is the off-set and lug diameter for these rims? What other models of BMWs will these rims fit on. Are there any other models of car that could use these rims? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
