I have a 1997 Mazda MX6 LS and am thinking about purchasing a set of winter tires and rims.

I have deiced to go for Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 but can't not decide which size of rims to go with them.
2 choices:

195/60QR15 or 195/65QR14

what are the pros and cons of both sizes? (especialy on my 1997 MX6).

For reference, I am from Toronto Ontario will be doing quite a bit of long distance hwy driving.

Thanks in advance,

Frank

The best and least expensive way to go is the 14" and you can run a 185/70R14 for even better traction. The contact patch on a 14" tire is not as spread out as the 15" thus it will cut through the snow easier. The only benefit of the 15" is better dry handling and in Toronto you need snow and ice traction. If I can help let me know. Thank you
