Is there any data that would demonstrate how much better a Hoosier slick should be than say, a Yoko A032R? It sure is convenient to drive to the event on the tires for the event. Would the Kumho Victoracer stand up to highway travel (125 miles round trip/event). This year I made it through a full season (12 events) on 6 yoko's, but I did slide around more than competitors with slicks.

There isn't any specific data but I have driven both and there is a substatial difference in the performance of the 2 tires. The Yoko's are the best for what you are describing, driving to the track and back. On the other hand if you are looking to win I don't think you will do it on the Yoko's. The Kumhos are coming out with a new tire for next year that I think will be more comfortable on the street but quicker than the AO32R. Let me know if I can help.
