BMW Roundel for Borbet Wheels (archive)

BMP sells two types of 2 1/4" roundels that should fit on my Borbet Type Es. Is it possible to pry off the Borbet badge -- in which case I would buy BMP's flat 2 1/4" roundel -- or should I plan to affix their convex roundel to the surface of the existing Borbet emblem?
