In looking for some safer tires, I had this response." You may also want to look into a plus zero size, go with a set of P195/60 R14. It's a much more common size. They will fit on your rim with out any problem" Is this correct? If so does Dunlop make a tire in this size? I had a Tercel before
but those tires on that car gave the best traction. This is
a 1997 Corolla & to me it is a giant car compared to my little Tercel. That may be another reason for less traction.
Would there be any effect from the power steering? My other
car did not have that either. They are/were both straight
shifts.
I listed two email sites 2ndry to some trouble w/ Yahoo server. I miss not being able to use the Dunlops because Consumer Reports listed it as one of the best tires & from experience they were not wrong.
