e34 m5 tire recommendation (archive)

does anyone have experience with yokohama avs-i on an e34 m5 or any e34 and how do they compare with other tires you have used? I am more concerned with it's dry capabilities but am worried that I will pay a high price in noise level?
How much noise compared to others?
