I'd like to use 245/45-17 size tires on all four corners with BMW oem 17x8 type #5 sport wheels on my '97 non sport 528i. I've picked this size because I'm concerned about "lifted" look of using 234/45-17 and I'm not interested in lowering car because of concerns about ride, and $$$$. I'd like opinions about tire choices. I want to slightly improve performance and looks, but not at the expense of harsh ride. I live in mertro Atlanta and roads are pretty decent so potholes aren't big deal. Is this setup adviseable, and what type tires do you recommend. I'm considering Yoko AVS Sports, but not sure. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!
