I'm looking for help choosing a replacement tire
for a 2000 bmw 328 with sport package. I drive the
car fairly aggressively but have never been to the
track or an autocross. I was looking at getting
the Bridgestone RE730 but I wanted to find out how
big a difference is there between that and the
highest rated tires like the SO2 or the Yokohama
AVS Sport or the Michelin Pilot Sport. Will the
extra performance of those tires show in daily
driving? Or will they only shine in more demanding
applications? Any help is appreciated. The advantage of the AVS Sport or the S02 is the ultimate wet and dry traction. The every day ride and handling won't be much different from the RE730 but when you push the car hard that is where you will see and feel the difference. The RE730 will last longer and give the same wet traction and they are very quiet and smooth but not quite the same dry traction. If I can help let me know. Thank you
