I have a 1994 325i convertible with the sport package. The car has 15" wheels with worn out 225/55/15 Michelen Pilots. The replacement tire costs more than it seems like it should and I would like to put on a good all season tire. Can I put a 205 tire on the same wheel? If so, what is the proper size?

The following are my possible options:

1. Keep wheels and pay for 225's or use 205's if they will fit.

2. Buy larger wheels. If so, What works best on this car in a 16" or 17" wheel w/ all season tires.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
