Question about staggering wheels? (archive)

When you stagger wheels like using 8"x18" with 245/40/18 tires in the front, and 9.5"x18" with 265/35/18 tires in the rear (M5 wheel and tire dimensions) this means you can never rotate you tires. Don't the high performance tires you use on wheels like these need to be rotated every 6,000 miles or so? seems like a big disadvantage to not be able to rotate your tires especially considering the price of most high performance tires. Any though tor commnets on this?

Thanks.
