I'm running the exact same size (235/45/17) in a ContiSport with no noticeable roar or rumble. Very happy with them overall. Probably a bit more performance than the 2000 or the xgtv-4, also. Yokohama just came out with a new tire called the AVS Decibel (I think that the name) that is supposed to be much quieter, also. Many of the other Yoko's get a bad rap for being loud.

Is there a 235 45 17 tire that does not have tire roar and rumble? Both my dunlop 2000 e and mich xgtv-4s were loud. My car is a 98 528i with sporst package.
