I bought 4 Dunlop Winter Sports from tirerack this year for my 540i-6 speed, which comes with summer tires. Wow, the difference between a true winter tire and an "all-season" tires I've had is night and day. I strongly recommend anyone who deals with snow to use winter tires. You have much better handling and I believe a far greater margin of safety which is well worth the cost.
