I have a 2001 E46 with the sport package and M3 aerodynamic kit. Currently looking for a set of wheels for the spring/summer months. Considering Borbet Type R, Type TD or Mille Miglia Spiders. I had a set of Borbet's on my 1988 750i E32 that were mounted before I bought the car and they seemed to perform just fine. If price weren't a factor, I'd definately consider Breyton, BBS or Hartge. Please send help!
There isn't any difference in the quality of the wheel brands but the Borbet wheel is lighter. Both wheels are German TUV approved and are hub centric for the car. I would say go with the style of wheel you like. If I can help with specific wheel or tire let me know. Thank you
