Hi, I have Pirelli P7000 Supersports on my Hamann HM2s 18 x 8.5 and quite frankly they suck. Now has come the time to replace my rear tires, and I do not want to use the same ones. The fronts still have plenty of tread left, so I want to keep them until they wear out. My question is, will I be able to use something like the S-02 PP in the rear and still be able to keep the Pirelli's in the front? Will anything happen if I do this? And what is the widest I would be able to go in the rear with my rims? My fenders are already rolled... thanks for any help in advanceCruizin
If the question is can you mix tires the answer would be yes. If you are asking for a recommendation I would say no. You would have a big difference in handling front to rear and the car would really understeer badly. You would be mixing the best summer performance tire with an all season performance tire, There also is no waaay to prdict how the car will handle with the different tires. If I can help let me know. Thank you
