What is the max offset for a 7", 7.5", and 8" wide wheel on my 89 325iS. Stock is 20MM i think, is up to 30mm ok with a 7" wide wheel


A 30mm offset on a 7" wheel is too deep for the
325i/is and will rub the front strut. Factory
15x7 fitment for this car is ET24, and the most
you can go is about 26 or 27mm. The Kosei K1
that the Rack sells for the E30 is 15x7 ET27
and places the inner sidewall close to the
strut but is within acceptable limits. Here's
a pic of em on my car with 225/50-15 Kumho V700
race tires:
