to maintain the same tire cicumference, you gotta do 225/55R-15 (rare size) or go to a 16 inch wheel and do 225/50R-16, where you have an incredible choice of tires. I think the tire experts at Tire Rack are right in this case...

I had a '94 325is that came with sport pkg and OE 225/55VR-15 Michelin MXMs, which I later replaced with 225/50ZR-16s on aftermarket wheels.
