96 740il alloys (16x"x8") on an E34 - any issues (archive)

I am considering purchasing a set of 96 740il alloys (16x"x8") to put on our 1989 535i (E34) Any issues with offset / fit?

Anyone suggest a lower aspect ratio tire size that they have had experience with?
