I found some wheels I really like for my 97 528, but they're only available in 17x7.5. The question I have, is can I mount my 255/40/17 (rear) and 235/45/17 (front) snow tires on these wheels during the winter? There's nothing on Tire Racks website that says they can or can't, and another distributor's website says yes they will fit.
You will need at least a 17X8.5 wheel for the 255/40R17.
