I recently purchased new 17" wheels for my 1998 528, they are 17x8 front;17x9 rear. I purchased Bridgestone RE730 (235/45/17 front; 255/40/17 rear) from Tirerack.com.

Can anyone comment on differences in performance with the 15" to 17" upgrade? Any comments on the front/back size differential are also appreciated.

Just curious, and waiting for summer!
