I'd like to buy the following for my '88 535i w/ a 22mm offset:

2 PIECE BMW ALLOY ALUMINUM RIMS WHEELS FROM A1999 5 SERIES E39 AND ARE STYLE#5,
BOLTED CROSS SPOKE. THESE RIMS ARE 17" X 8. THESE RIMS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
AND ALL 4 CENTERS ARE INCLUDED. THEY ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL BMW RIMS.

Aside from the usual due-diligence, will these work on my car without fender modification?
Everything is standard on my 535i (shocks, etc.) and what size tires will work (235/45 17)?

BMW dealer no help.

They will fit but you will need a cetering ring to make them hub centric. We have them at 5.00 each. If I can help let me know. Thank you
