I just got a 1986 635csi it currently has the Michelin 220 55 390 TRXs on the car. the rubber is low and i was reading my manual and saw on the door that I can also use 195 70 14 tires or 205 70 14 tires. The tires that caught my eye were the new Pirelli P3000 cinturato(205 70 14). I would like to know if I can put these on the car w/out buying new rims and if not is there any other tire I can use w/out getting new rims. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, but the only option you have is to buy new wheels and tires. If I were you I would look more at a 15" or 16" wheel and tire and I think there are a lot better tires than the P3000 for the car. We have wheels shown on our web site to fit the car and then give me a call and we can go over the recommended tires. Let me know if I can help. Thank you
