Slow leak. Is it fixed? Need help. (archive)

I have a BFG TA/KD rear tire, that only has about 2K miles on it. A few weeks I noticed a slow leak. I used a can of fix a flat to fix the problem and the tire is holding air fine since. I'm not in any way a tire expert so here's my question. Do I need to replace this tire or is safe to drive till the tread wears down?
