Tire fitment for an E30 M3 (archive)

I was wondering if it was possible to put 225/45/ZR17 on the rear of my 1988 M3. I will have 215/45/ZR17 on the fronts (OZ Mito Modulars). As well, I have a set of RD from my E36 325is with 215/45/ZR17 and was wondering if they would fit directly onto my E30 M3.
