Track Event Tire For E30 (archive)

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a good race tire (driver's schools; auto-x) that is NOT an R Compound. I would use it for events and have another set for the street. Probably in a 225/50-15 size for my BMW '87 325IS.
