I'm looking for tires for M Kontour rims. I have 7.5's for the fron, 8,5 for the rear. If I get 235s (tires) for all 4 wheels - will they fit my rims?

Shoudl I be concerned about instability / bending if I decide not to go with 225s front /245s rear -- that is what came with the car originally.

With the rims you have you will need to do the staggered sizes. The 235/40R17 will not fit on a 17X7.5 rim. If I can help let me know. Thank you
