I find myself very torn between these two vehicles, and I'm curious if any of you were the same way, and why you went for the X5. It seems to be accepted wisdom that the wagon handles better, but that the X5 handles well enough. The wagon has deeper cargo space in back, but the X5 has more legroom in the back seat.

The funny thing is, I don't care about the AWD (in fact, I mock SUV's in general), and the comparitively poor mileage chaffes my environmentally sensitive butt. But it's just... cool.

Your feedback is appreciated.

to me the wagon, is a better choice, it loks great handles like the sedan,GREAT. is not an suv orSAV , does not block every one else view, does not consume excess fuel, is very limited in production, IS NOT A TRUCK> Hurry, 528 wagons are no longer being made, no 530, only v8 .and puny 525, to replace 528,
