OK, I am inching closer to buying the 3.0i, unless the wife stages a major revolt.

Today's question is "Sports package or no?" I have only driven the X5 with the sports package. One review I read said that the ride was too harsh, but that wasn't my experience. I like the sports steering wheel and some of the cosmetic touches, but overall it feels like a $2500 rip-off unless the handling is really THAT much better.
