My wife is looking at the X5 pretty seriously but I have been reading about some of the problems on this board. My questions are: Would you buy this SAV again? Has the stall problems been fixed? Are there good discounts from MRSP to be had?

Thanks to all who responded. This has been an extremely tough choice. It was between the 530i and the X5. Reading your post and after a very impressive test drive, I think it will be the X5. We have found a couple of dealerships that are willing to sell for less than MRSP. Thanks again.
