We bought the 3M product from Bavarian Auto (bavauto.com) and its working great. The installation was a pain, though, & took two of us several hours, AND it didn't come out as good as I hoped--some small bubbles & folds. Take lots of time, & be very careful. Or, find a professional to install it. outside of my little folds it is quite transparent, looks god, especially compared to the road scars on my 328. I will do it for my next car, maybe the BMW mini or the hatchback.

My X5 is black and I want to protect it from little rocks, etc this winter. Are you using the 3M clear cover? Is it any good? How's it to install and remove? Does it look okay? How much did you pay? Other suggestions? Sorry for all the questions.
