I have to admit that I'm considering ordering my X5 without the "X5" badge. Not that anyone will wonder what it is - I just happen think that the alphanumerics break up the rear view unattractively. (And I'll keep the "3.0" badge in front, I'm not trying to pretend to a bigger engine or anything...)

I am interested in finding out if anyone has successfully remomeed the X5 and the 4.4 or 3.0 badging without messing up the paint. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do it without creating scars or scratches?
