priorities, the X5 is the only way to go. I have a 3.0 which has not had a problem (except for stalling once in 650 miles so far). Great car. Feels impregnible, and handles like a dream
I've been killing myself with all sorts of versions and ideas and SUV models, but I've been driving an SUV for too long and cannot drive anything other than an SUV anymore. For the comfort and safety(my last $35000 SUV - 2000 Rodeo LSE rolled and burned to crisp from a manufacturer's defect) I have chosen the X5. The only thing that bothers me is "Assembled in the USA" and all the issues that will carry with it. I see many ask this question, but I must have missed the answer as I didn't see one.
Main thing, is I see all of you proud owners getting rid of problems after the DME upgrade. My dealer says BMW has one X5 3.0 reserved for them that will be configured next month and will arrive a month later. Will it come with the latest version? How do I or dealer check this?Your every word is greatly appreciated!
