Hi, all:

My local dealer has one canceled order X5 3.0. It's black with black interior and the only options are Premium and NAV. While I don't miss other options too much (I can always tint the window and install a CD changer myself), I'm a little concerned about the black+black combination.

Does anyone out there have this combo? Do you like it? How much hassle is it to keep it cool and clean? Does "clear coat" help keeping the black exterior scratch free and clean? I'm in SF Bayarea.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

I have the oxford green with black interior. That green is almost as dark as black. (And you rarely see exterior and interior at the same time.) Anyway there is NO PROBLEM with the black interior and heat. I think thats a myth. I just went through the hot summer here in SC, and I never had a problem. The black floor DOES show the dirt more than lighter floor colors, but the black interior looks so great it doesn't matter to me any more. It did the first 2 weeks, and then the concern faded...
