The black floor shows more dirt like rocks and such but light carpet like beige will show dirt... real dirt that you can't clean. Sure you'll be vacumming your black interior every other day but it will never look dirty and old like light carpet will look.

BTW- Does anyone elses' black BMW floormats not match the black carpet? The floor mats seem to have a mixture of light fibers or something. Even though they are brand new, the carpets look old and of bad quality.

I agree the carpets that BMW gives (or sells) to you are of bad quality. Throw them away and get floor mats from Bavarian Autosport.
